The magic of outdoors

Have you found yourself stuck in a rut? Bored of the everyday lifting, spinning or aerobic class in the gym or studio?

Well listen! Don't forget about the outdoors: the fresh air, the feel of the breeze across your face – the good ol’ outdoors is and will always be there for you.

In fact, you can do any and everything outdoors. Take your gym equipment outside, put your spin bike out on the deck, take your music outside.

Imagine the difference a change of scenery will make on your mood and workout.

When Absbydre first founded, we were 100 per cent outdoors. The main purpose was to provide a different view of what a gym looks like because we can make a gym anywhere. Furthermore, gyms have a closing time, the outside does not.

It's never closing time when outdoors, even if it's raining. Have you worked out in the rain before? It's so refreshing.

So today I challenge you to get outside more during your fitness and wellness journey. Experience the sun, wind and even rain as you push towards your goals. Go on an adventure in a nearby park, run up the National Stadium stairs, sprint up Billy Goat Hill (or try to LOL); do lunges along the railway trail. Whatever you decide to do, make it your own workout, enjoy the fresh air and smile through the fatigue of working out. Fatigue is only temporary.

Happy Wednesday fitfam! Continue to be unapologetic about your fitness and wellness journey, honest with your efforts and true to yourself.

Go outside and enjoy yourselves!
