Hamilton Parish come through
Hamilton Parish 4 Ireland Rangers 2
Hamilton Parish clawed their way back from a two-goal deficit to hand the visitors a 4-2 defeat at Lord's on Sunday.
Two superbly taken goals from Clevon Hill, a Rangers own goal and a late insurance strike by second half substitute DeForest Evans saw Peppers replace their opponents at the top of the standings and keep their unbeaten win streak intact.
However, they didn't have things all their own way during a pulsating 90 minutes of non-stop end-to-end action as Rangers' Henri Santucci fired his side ahead as early as the tenth minute and before Parish could figure out what had struck them, Santucci landed another crushing blow to double his team's lead.
Parish also suffered an early setback when forward Sean Dill injured his right leg and was replaced by player/coach Neil (Diamond) Robinson.
Hill managed to pull one back for the home side five minutes before the break as Rangers led 2-1 at the half.
But shortly after the restart, Hill struck again to level the scores when he headed home an Alvin Baker corner and seven minutes later Rangers ‘keeper Ricardo Tucker, attempting to palm away a dangerous Robinson cross, only succeeded in helping the ball across the goal-line to give the home team a 3-2 lead.
Second half sub Evans then put the match beyond Rangers as he converted from close range.
Parish's Jamel Dill and Rangers' Sean Brangman, Jonathan Bean, Trenton Tankard and Jack Coddrington all received bookings.
Paget 0 Southampton Rangers 3
Herbie Dillas finally regained the Midas touch in front of goal as he struck a hat-trick to give Southampton Rangers a comfortable 3-0 victory over bottom team Paget at White Hill Field.
The match saw Southampton pick up only their second win of the season and climb into fourth place in the standings.
Enjoying more of their fair share of possession, Rangers should have blown their lowly hosts clean off the pitch in the first half but some poor finishing saw the teams remain scoreless at the break.
Dillas finally gave Southampton a 1-0 lead three minutes after the restart from the penalty spot after Craig Darrell had been tripped in the box.
Ten minutes later the dreadlocked forward struck again with a crisp low drive from 12 yards before completing his treble in full-stride with another firm drive from just inside the 18-yard box after young Reggie Lowe had done well to evade his marker and send in a precision pass.
Southampton's Omari Hart and Paget's Giovanni Burrows and Kenneth Outerbridge all received bookings - the latter barely 45 seconds into the match.
Prospect 2 Social Club 0
Prospect seized their first win of the season when they handed Social Club a 2-0 loss at Police Field.
Goals from Carlos Lopes in the 16th minute and a 30th minute strike by John Richmond saw the ‘boys in blue' move up to sixth spot in the standings while Social Club slid down a place to fifth.
Wolves 2 St.David's 1
Veteran Wolves striker Dion Wainwright turned back the hands of time to grab the goal that helped his team to their first win of the season over St.David's at BAA Field.
Jared Peniston put the home team ahead after only 11 minutes via the penalty spot before Islanders stormed back through Otis Minors in the 25th minute.
However, before the visitors' celebrations had muted Wainwright popped up to score what ultimately turned out to be the winner one minute later.
