BAA settle for share of points with Wolves

BAA failed to take advantage of their game in hand on the other promotion seeking teams when they were had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Wolves at Wellington Oval yesterday.
Wolves took the lead on the half-hour mark when Tamauri Tucker scored. However, BAA, who are second in the standings, secured a valuable point when Patrick Quinn equalised eight minutes later.
Yesterday’s other match between bottom teams Paget and Vasco at Southampton Oval also finished 1-1, leaving both teams still waiting for their first wins of the season.
Linton Miller put Paget ahead in the 39th minute before Shaun Brown equalised for Vasco four minutes into the second half.
