Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic accident involving a car and a motorcycle left an 18-year-old Hamilton Parish man with a ruptured spleen and broken ribs.
Around midnight on Tuesday, Police attended the incident near Lindo's Family Foods, in Middle Road, Warwick.
It appears the man was travelling east on a motorcycle, with a car in front of him, which was making a right turn into the supermarket when he was attempting to overtake it.
The driver of the car, a 37-year-old Sandy's Parish woman, was not injured.
The rider also sustained scrapes to his hands and knees and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment via ambulance.
He is currently in stable condition on a general ward. Police are inquiring and asking for any witnesses to this accident to contact PC Travel Brown at 295-0011.
