The Hospitals Auxiliary of Bermuda has donated two televisions to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital to benefit patients in long-term care.

The two 48-inch televisions with stands were handed over this month to help provide entertainment in the Perry and Cooper Long Term Care Units.

Christine Bogle-Meinzer, a clinical manager for the Curtis Long Term Care Unit, said the donation would make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, thanking the HAB for its commitment to Bermuda’s hospitals.

She said: “Your continued support demonstrates a genuine understanding of the needs of long-term care residents and a strong dedication to enhancing their care environment.”

Scott Pearman, the Bermuda Hospitals Board chief executive and president, added: “Year after year you continue to enrich our hospital environment through meaningful contributions that directly improve the wellbeing of our patients and residents.”
