Chantal Cardinez appointed global head of financial solutions at Hannover Re

Hannover Re has announced the appointment of Chantal Cardinez as global head of financial solutions, in addition to her existing mandate as chief executive officer HR Bermuda since 2020.
The reinsurer said in a statement on LinkedIn that she began her career in the actuarial field, with roles in London and Bermuda, before joining Hannover Re in 2008.
Hannover Re said her extensive industry experience, strong technical foundation, and proven leadership across markets make her exceptionally well equipped for this expanded global remit. Chantal is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
