Minibus team set a shining example

Major attraction: the Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix drew big crowds to Morgan’s Point last weekend (Photograph by Akil Simmons)

Dear Sir,

Congratulations to Debbie (Socks) Brown and her team of minibus drivers for a job extremely well done this week at the Apex Group Bermuda SailGP event held at Morgan’s Point.

A flawless system for transportation was organised and directed by Ms Brown, who is an executive member of the Bermuda Association of Minibuses.

The SailGP technicians and sailors were moved back and forth from their various hotels to the event location every day and night, from May 5 to May 12.

BAM buses were always on time for pick-ups, no exceptions.

The service provided on race days May 9 and 10 was extremely impressive.

Much more than 5,000 people were moved during the two-day event, back and forth.

No hitches. No problem too big to solve.

A smooth, fast, and efficient rotation of minibuses.

Drivers well dressed, well behaved, and greatly appreciated by the spectators who attended the event.

Congratulations to Ms Brown and BAM. Again, you have done Bermuda proud.

A huge thank-you to the minibus owners and drivers who participated in providing transportation.

You are a shining example of how a dedicated and trustworthy transportation system works.

Well done! Keep up the great work! We appreciate you!
