Expressions of interest sought for airport VIP lounges

VIP lounges plan: LF Wade International Airport (Photograph supplied)

“Qualified and reputable” companies are being invited to lodge interest in operating and maintaining two VIP lounges at LF Wade International Airport.

Skyport, the airport operator, called for a qualified organisation to deliver a professionally managed lounge environment for passengers.

It is hoped the full-service common-use lounges will boost the passenger experience, strengthen the airport’s services and support the terminal’s broader commercial development.

Expressions of interest are being sought from companies with proven experience in airport hospitality. A construction start date has been given as January 1, 2027.

According to Skyport, the operating company would be expected to provide day-to-day management and staffing of the lounges, high customer service and hospitality, food and beverage services, amenities and support, access arrangements for participating airlines and the management of commercial performance.

Respondents can include one or more firms as a joint venture or other legal entity formed and able to conduct business in Bermuda.

Interested parties can find out more on theLF Wade International Airportwebsite or by e-mailing khassard@skyport.bm.
