Man denies six drug charges
A man was charged in Magistrates’ Court with having and conspiring to import more than $400,000 worth of drugs into Bermuda.
Trey Simons 28, denied having cannabis resin and two types of MDMA — known as ecstasy and “pink cocaine” respectively — with intent to supply, as well as conspiring with others to import the substances, when he appeared in court today.
The Warwick resident allegedly committed the conspiracy between an unknown date and June 28, 2025, the date he was alleged to have had the drugs — understood to have a street value of $401,140 — in St George’s.
Magistrate Maria Sofianos adjourned the case to August 10 and released Mr Simons on $10,000 bail until that time.
Ms Simons’ bail conditions include reporting to Hamilton Police Station twice a week and surrendering all travel documents.
