Bermudian goalkeeper Quincy Ratteray has joined Future Pro Academy in England.

On Monday, the Coventry-based academy announced Ratteray’s arrival. The youngster made the switch following his brilliant exploits during the Bermuda Triangle Cup for Dandy Town, where he was voted the outstanding goalkeeper at the tournament.

After the final on July 26, he was presented with his accolade by Mark Wade, the Bermuda Football Association president, and the legendary Clyde Best.

“We are delighted to welcome Quincy to Future Pro,” Future Pro said in a statement. “Quincy joins us following his participation in the Bermuda Triangle Cup with Dandy Town Hornets, where he was recognised as Goalkeeper of the Tournament.

“We look forward to supporting his continued development and progression throughout his football journey at Future Pro.”

Ratteray, who was part of the under-15 school select team for the President’s Youth National Cup last year, joins a growing list of Bermudians developing their talent at Future Pro.

Kennahz Fray, Harlem Bean-Fox, Chedi Smith, Jahni Simmons and Shiloh Waite are the players from the island already being prepared for the professional world at the high-performance football and education programme.

Future Pro lists Newcastle and former Leicester City star Harvey Barnes and Coventry City midfielder Josh Eccles as players who have received training at the academy.

Another Bermudian goalkeeper, Coleridge “CJ” Fubler, has been retained by English non-league football side Binfield. Fubler signed with International Development Academy in 2023 from PHC, before he made his Binfield debut in September, 2024.
