Walk miles and bring smiles to Move Your Feet for Autism
Walkers were invited to take part in an event to mark the 19th anniversary of Tomorrow’s Voices and raise money for autism causes.
The fourth annual “Move Your Feet for Autism” 5K Family Walk fundraiser will take place on Sunday from 3pm at the charity’s TN Tatem facility in Warwick.
Entertainment will be on offer as well as a lap course around the field for families with young children or people who require a more accessible option.
Virtual participation will allow supporters from anywhere to join in and support any time before November 30, 2026.
Thea Furbert, a cofounder and board chairwoman of autism awareness charity Tomorrow’s Voices — Bermuda Autism Early Intervention Centre, said: “For the past three years, hundreds of community members have supported this walk.
“We are excited to host the fourth year of this family-friendly event and bring together the community to support our mission to enrich the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.”
All funds from the event benefit the Tomorrow’s Voices Autism Centre’s therapeutic programmes, which help individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
After the walk, supporters can enjoy a fun castle, DJ, vendors and information booth with neuroinclusive items for sale.
Registration takes place through RaceDayWorld.com with kits available to the first 250 registered participants.
AF Smith Ltd will sponsor prizes for individual fundraisers in the adult and children’s categories. Participants will also be eligible for a draw prize, donated by Atlantic Podiatry, if they raise $100 or more.
Organisers said that the event would not be possible without the support of sponsors SiriusPoint, D & J Construction Ltd., AF Smith, Island Nutrition, Atlantic Podiatry and DJ Fury.
