Tamsin Webster named Ariel Re’s chief people officer
Reinsurer Ariel Re has made Tamsin Webster its chief people officer.
The firm said Ms Webster brought more than 20 years of global human resources leadership experience across financial services, technology and private equity-backed businesses.
She was previously head of people at ECI Partners, where she established the firm’s first internal human resource function and strengthening its leadership succession planning, Ariel Re said.
She also held the same position at Fulcrum Asset Management, where she led the expansion of the people function to support the firm’s growth.
Ryan Mather, chief executive of Ariel Re, said Ms Webster’s extensive experience across global organisations and high-growth businesses brought a valuable perspective to Ariel Re’s leadership team.
“As we continue to grow, her expertise in talent development will be instrumental in strengthening our position as an academy firm, where the best in the business want to work, learn and develop,” Mr Mather said.
Ms Webster said from her first meetings with the CEO and the team, she was inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit, ambition and drive for excellence.
“I look forward to bringing my experience to the team and playing a part in Ariel Re’s next chapter of growth,” she said.
