The northbound lane of Wesley Street between Park and Victoria Streets will be closed for the remainder of today as asphalting takes place.

The work is expected to be completed tomorrow, weather permitting.

Motorists are currently being directed to make a left turn onto the southbound lane of Wesley Street from Victoria Street.

A spokesperson for the City of Hamilton said: “The City apologises for any inconvenience caused during this time and thanks the public for their continued patience while these important upgrades to the MS Amlin World Triathlon race course are carried out.”
