A 36-year-old woman is in critical condition after a single vehicle car crash on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton Parish.

According to police, the crash occurred at about 5.45pm on Friday, in the vicinity of the former Harrington Sound Post Office.

The driver was trapped in the car before being transported to hospital, where she is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.
