Butterfield Bank shares up on BSX

Shares of Butterfield Bank climbed 90 cents, or 3 per cent, to $31 after 4,346 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index yesterday.
The Bermuda Stock Exchange was closed today for the New Year’s Day bank holiday.
Also yesterday, BF&M Ltd fell five cents, or 0.2 per cent, to $20 after 2,200 shares changed hands.
In New York, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 17 cents, or 0.54 per cent, at $31.16/
Yesterday, The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 44.09 points, or 2.22 per cent, at 2,031.86, while the BSX rose 16.69 points, or 1.04 per cent.
