Bank stock rises

The RG/BSX Index rose 32.18 (1.19 per cent) and finished at 2,729.19 with trades involving Argus Group Holdings Ltd. and Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd.
Argus closed unchanged at $6 after 4,433 shares changed hands.
Butterfield closed up 60 cents (1.5 per cent) at $39.50 on volume of 3,300.
The Bank of Butterfield rose $1.74 (4.47 per cent) to close at $40.65 on the New York Stock Exchange.
The RG/BSX Index rose 32.18 (1.19 per cent)
