Nothing to declare

Passengers arriving at LF Wade International Airport will be able to use a “nothing to declare” aisle, after April 1.Premier Paula Cox announced the change in her Budget statement yesterday. She said: “In conjunction with the Ministry of Transport’s Department of Airport Operations, the arrivals area at LF Wade International Airport will, commencing in this fiscal year, feature a ‘red/green’ channel system, whereby arriving passengers will have the option of using a ‘nothing to declare’ line.”The Finance Minister said this would hasten their passage through the airport and emphasise the obligation to properly declare goods.
