A woman was charged yesterday with causing the death of a passenger in her car when she crashed in St George's.
Kelly-Ann Damasio, 30, was accused of causing the death by dangerous driving of Rakai Augustus.
Magistrates' Court was told that Mr Augustus, 30, died last October after Ms Damasio crashed her car in Wellington Street.
Ms Damasio, from Warwick, made no plea because the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
The case was adjourned until November 1 and Ms Damasio was released on $10,000 bail.
