Auction to raise funds for Habitat Bermuda
Members of the public will be able to view and purchase work from island artists at a fundraiser on Wednesday.
The free event at Magnolia Place on Victoria Street will feature food, wine, original pieces by Peter Adderley, Diana Amos, Sheilagh Head, Lisa Rego and Eli Cedrone, as well as art from Mr Adderley and wife Linda’s personal collection.
The fundraiser will also include a live auction for Mr and Mrs Adderley’s rare collectibles and highlight the couple’s work feeding people experiencing homelessness and the Dignity House Foundation, which supports treatment for people with mental health and substance use challenges.
Proceeds earned from the sale and auction will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Bermuda.
Organisers said: “This gathering is about more than art, it is an opportunity to bring people together in support of practical, meaningful initiatives that help our neighbours live with greater dignity, stability and hope.”
The event will start at 7pm and attendees must register in advance via Ptix.bm. The art can be previewed at Magnolia Place on July 13 and 14 from 9am to 6pm.
