November 30, 2012Dear Sir,To Mrs Sherri Simmons:What is wrong if a political party has acknowledge they’ve become obsolete and need to close the party and regroup so they may be taken seriously as oppose to being stigmatised by the former name of United Bermuda Party? Granted, many are of the former UBP and have turned their backs on Kim Swan and chose to cross over and in doing so have now taking a new approach … (doing what is right). Not only was it the right thing to do for the United Bermuda Party, ie by closing it down but for all the people of Bermuda. The Progressive Labour Party are as guilty of taking in former UBP members, so please Mrs Simmons, “what’s the gripe about?” The facts are that since the Progressive Labour Party have taken the reins of the Bermuda Government we’ve experienced the worse what, seven or eight years.
