Reader seeking help

August 3, 2013Dear Sir,I am researching the death of my Grandfather, George Wellington Linford who was with 2nd/4th Bn. East Yorkshire Regiment (England) in Bermuda during the First World War. He died while trying to save a Bermudian boy from drowning off North Shore on June, 3 1918 and is buried in Prospect Hill Military Cemetery. Would it be possible to source any newspaper reports/records of the tragedy, or at least the name of the boy who sadly also lost his life? I would be most grateful of any information that might lead to finding out more about what happened. Thanking you in anticipation,JANE TAYLOR3 Farlesthorpe RoadAlfordLincolnshireLN13 9PSUKjanetaylor75@gmail.com
