An apology

An article on St George’s West MP Nandi Davis in yesterday’s newspaper contained several errors in relation to last year’s general election. The story incorrectly stated that the One Bermuda Alliance candidate beat Independent candidate Kim Swan by four votes. In fact, Progressive Labour Party candidate Renee Ming came second, with 355 votes to Ms Davis’ 359 votes. Mr Swan received 214 votes. Additionally, the article mistakenly identified Mr Swan and fellow Independent Charles Swan as brothers. The Royal Gazette apologises for the errors.
