Repair time a blot on ministry

Dear Sir,
I wish to applaud the patience of Mr John Roach, whose property was damaged from flooding two years ago (Palmetto Road open again after two years, June 19).
Quite frankly, I would not have had his patience and would have raised the roof at least two years ago.
It has been two years and four months since it was damaged.
One did not need any rocket scientists to get that wall fixed.
Not to mention the inconvenience to the daily travellers using that road to get into Hamilton.
This was a blot on the Ministry of Public Works for taking an inordinate amount of time to complete the job.
