Axis takes cyber and liability to Canada
Axis Capital has launched a new insurance policy offering flexible cyber and specialist liability coverage to Canadian companies with up to $2 billion in revenue.
The Axis Cyber Technology and Miscellaneous Professional Liability Policy allows businesses to combine multiple risk protections into one streamlined product.
The policy is available through brokers and underwritten by Axis Reinsurance Company (Canadian Branch).
Coverages can include cyber protection such as incident response, network interruption and data breach liability, as well as technology errors and omissions for tech and telecom services and professional liability coverage for a wide range of service providers.
“As innovations in digital technology and [artificial intelligence] AI emerge, coupled with new forms of cyber threats, it is essential that the solutions we deliver for businesses evolve to meet the changing risk landscape,” said Michael McCallum, head of cyber and technology, Canada, Axis.
“In launching ACTM in Canada, we are pleased to add to Axis’ suite of speciality insurance products,” added Brad Randell, head of Insurance, Axis Canada.
Axis’ other Canadian offerings include accident and health, casualty, management liability and professional liability insurance.
