Making its repositioning cruise to Hamilton was the Dreamward , which brought 1,133 passengers from New York on Monday. It left on Tuesday morning for its Miami-Caribbean winter route.
The Song of America also made its final voyage for the year. The Royal Caribbean cruiseliner left Bermuda with 1,440 passengers last Friday for drydock in Norfolk, Virginia.
In other news from the docks, Meyer Agency reported that the Somers Isles sailed in from Fernandina Beach, Florida, with 89 containers, including refrigerated containers.
The dry containers carried a Suzuki jeep, two large pleasure boats, 27 bundles of lumber and plywood, and 38 structured steel and decking.
The Somers Isles sailed out on Thursday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Bermuda Islander arrived from Salem, New Jersey, on Monday afternoon. It brought 102 containers, including 13 refrigerated containers, one boat, and five horses.
She saled out on Tuesday afternoon.
Container Ship Management reports the Oleander arrived on Monday with 154 dry containers, including five flat-bed trailers of structured steel and scaffolding, 13 cars, one aircraft tow truck, three catamarans, and two 40-foot containers of boats for the Tornado World Championships which starts this weekend.
The Oleander left for Port Elizabeth, New Jersey on Tuesday.
Among the irregular upcoming visits will be the cable ship Marion C which is set to arrive at Penno's Wharf on Friday from Fort Pierce, Florida.
And John S. Darrell reported that the Canadian warship CFAV Endeavour is scheduled to arrive next Wednesday at Penno's Wharf for the reconfiguration of scientific equipment and exchange of scientists.
