Busy on the docks: Docksiders The Islands docks were busy this week with regular callers as well as a few new guests.

The Royal Majesty arrived in St. George's from Boston on Tuesday afternoon with 1,096 passengers on board and will return to Boston tomorrow.

And the Song of America also arrived on Tuesday with 1,450 passengers on board.

It berthed in St. George's with the Royal Majesty and then switched to Hamilton yesterday morning. It is due to return to New York tomorrow.

On Monday the Zenith and the Dreamward arrived in Hamilton and St. George's respectively.

The Zenith was carrying 1,410 passengers, its largest to date. She shifted to St. George's yesterday morning while the Dreamward shifted to Hamilton on Tuesday morning with her 1,280 passengers.

Both vessels are scheduled to return to New York today.

Meanwhile the Meridian arrived yesterday at King's Wharf with 1,147 passengers on board.

In other shipping news, Bermuda hosted a number of unusual callers this week.

The US warship USS Estocin sailed into Dockyard on Sunday to refuel. She departed later that afternoon.

And the 131-foot motor yacht Lady Sandals docked into St. George's on Sunday to refuel and stock up on water.

The yacht, from Liberty Island, New York, departed Monday afternoon for the Azores.

Tomorrow, the liquid propane gas carrier LPG-C Emgas will sail into Bermuda from Jamaica carrying 8,700 barrels of propane.

The 376-foot vessel will unload her cargo at the ESSO Oil Dock in Ferry Reach, St. George's.

In container ship news, the Bermuda Islander arrived from Salem, New Jersey on Monday with 103 containers including 10 refrigerated containers and a 40-foot container. It sailed on Tuesday.

And the Oleander arrived on Sunday with 150 containers including 35 refers, ten cars and three 40-foot trailers. It left Bermuda on Tuesday.
