Ships bring in fleet of new buses and cars

She was also carrying three 45ft trailers, one 30ft container, 140 dry containers and 47 refrigerated containers.

And the Blue Ridge Highway car ship arrived and left last Thursday depositing 104 cars on the island.

Other heavy duty arrivals include a gravel ship, the Nordanhav which will dock at Penno's Wharf in St. George's tomorrow.

On the cruise liner front the Pacific Princess arrived in St. George's yesterday with 658 passengers and will shift between Hamilton and Dockyard through the week.

The Nordic Empress arrived in Dockyard yesterday with 1,852 passengers on board and will shift to Hamilton later in the week.

The Horizon arrived yesterday morning and will leave today, and her sister ship, the Zenith arrived in Hamilton on Monday with 1,643 passengers and will shift to St. George's on Wednesday before leaving tomorrow.

The Crown Dynasty left on Monday from Dockyard with 797 passengers on board and will return on Friday.

The Somers Isle arrived yesterday morning and will leave tomorrow.

The Sir Eric Sharp is currently berthed at Dockyard on standby and the Wave Alert was also in Dockyard, but left on Tuesday.

Time to relax: The Greek warship HS Aris docked in Hamilton last Thursday for a two-day stay to allow its crew some time ashore.
