Litigation attorney Katie Tornari was recently called to the Bermuda Bar.

Hailing from the UK, Ms Tornari is a senior associate in the Insurance and Reinsurance Department at Marshall Diel & Myers where she works on a range of complex re/insurance and commercial disputes.

Her extensive experience includes handling large insurance coverage disputes in arbitration and advising on insurance regulation in Bermuda.

Ms Tornari attended King's College in London and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001.

Katie is an alumna of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge UK LLP (formerly Kendall Freeman) in London, with whom Marshall Diel & Myers has a cooperation agreement that allows both firms to provide their clients with seamless legal services in multiple jurisdictions.

Ms Tornari came to Marshall Diel & Myers in 2008 as a part of this agreement to grow the firm's local re/insurance practice.

Katie serves as the education officer on the Bermuda Re/insurance Under 40s Group.
