United Productions dancers will also strut their stuff on stage.

Executive producer of the show Mr. Darren (Butch) Burchall said the show encompasses a variety of musicians from reggae, calypso and jazz to gospel and R and B.

He added that this year for the first time his organisation Country Cartel, which puts the show, decided to ask for the public's help to choose their favourite entertainers in several categories by filling out nomination forms.

As this is the fifth year the night will also be a celebration with a cocktail party beginning at 7 p.m.

"The Brammy's is a show that the entire family can enjoy and it is the only show that recognises the accomplishments of local entertainers in musical and theatrical fields,'' Mr. Burchall said.

He added: "This is going to be the best year yet. We have hired an interior decorator to help with the sets so they look professional.

"Patrons of the show can expect nothing less than an explosion of the fine arts. I am hoping people just come out and support the musicians and entertainers who have worked hard all year to make the stressful life in Bermuda a little easier.'' Mr. Burchall also said that local entertainers do not get the praise that they deserve.

"They work hard for four months to do a two-hour show.'' He added that the fine arts, local entertainers and sports are three very important areas that will heal our society of social ills.

And this year the show will be closing in style with the H and H Gombeys.

Tickets for the show can be purchased at Sabrina's.
