In response to this, one of the Police units travelling north on Court Street collided with a westbound van travelling on Victoria Street in Pembroke. Both vehicles sustained damages.

WOMAN NABBED FOR SHOPLIFTING CRM Woman nabbed for shoplifting A 26-year-old Pembroke woman was arrested yesterday after she was caught shoplifting.
A security guard, at the Phoenix Centre on Reid Street, saw the woman removing items from the shelves and placing them in her bag.
She attempted to leave the store by the rear entrance, but was detained by the security guard.
The items were recovered, and the woman was arrested and conveyed to Hamilton Police Station.
There she was found to have a brand new pair of black jeans, which she confessed to stealing from H A & E Smith Ltd on Reid Street, just before her arrest at the Phoenix Centre.
CARS COLLIDE IN ST. GEORGE'S AC Cars collide in St. George's Police attended the scene of an accident involving two cars on Mullet Bay Road near Swing Bridge, St. George's on Monday night.
Reports indicate that just before 11 p.m., a blue Suzuki travelling east on Mullet Bay Road swerved over the yellow line.
As a result, it collided with a maroon Volkswagen travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Suzuki received some minor injuries to her ribs and a cut to her forehead. The front of her car was extensively damaged.
The other vehicle received minor dents to the front bumper and side panels.

The culprit ransacked several rooms, before making off with a stereo system and receiver.
A Pembroke resident told Police that between 8 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. on November 1, an unknown person gained entry into his house on Robin Hood Drive and removed an envelope from his bedroom.
The envelope contained a significant amount of cash.
And a pump was reported stolen from a Pembroke apartment block yesterday.
The complainant said the culprit entered the pump room of the apartment on St.
Monica's Road sometime between 11:45 p.m. on October 29 and 6.30 a.m. on October 30.
The person disconnected the pump from the four apartments it served and removed it from the premises.
TEEN CAUGHT LIFTING BOTTLE OF RUM CRM Teen caught lifting bottle of rum A 14-year-old liquor thief was nabbed leaving a Hamilton supermarket with a bottle of rum in his knapsack.
The Pembroke youth was arrested and charged with stealing after a manager at the MarketPlace on Church Street saw him place a bottle of Gosling's Black Seal rum in his knapsack and try to leave the store without paying around 3 p.m. on Sunday.
