West End churches are coming together to host a family night at the Sandys 360 Centre in an effort to bring the community together.‘Western Churches Unite A Family Fun Night’ will feature swimming, chess, checkers, basketball, indoor football and table tennis, while younger attendants will be able to enjoy a fun castle.An event spokesman said: “The Family Fun Night is part of Sandys 360’s goal to help mobilise the churches to begin to collectively address some of the factors that are negatively impacting young people and the community.“A follow-up meeting is planned at a future time to pray, discuss, strategise and plan to collectively address some of the negative issues impacting the west end community.”The event will be held this Saturday, February 4, with activities beginning at 6.30pm.Food and refreshments will be available for purchase, with funds going toward the Sandys 360 Scholar/Athlete Arts Leadership Academy student’s College Tour.
