Work has this morning started on removing the fountains outside City Hall.The City of Hamilton decided at a recent meeting to remove the fountains and grass over the area, despite many people expressing their opposition to the plan.City of Hamilton officials say it is a temporary measure and no final decision will be made until the public has been consulted.It is estimated that it would cost about $150,000 to fix the fountain.
