Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd has launched what it describes as the Island’s “most complete calendar of events” — and is inviting members of the public to get involved. The interactive, integrated calendar is available on three of the company’s websites — Nothing to Do in Bermuda?, The Royal Gazette and This Week in Bermuda — and will soon be added to a fourth, trading site e-Moo.Readers are invited to submit information about their events for inclusion, free of charge, with the knowledge that their listing will be seen by visitors to all of the sites.Bermuda Press Holdings Ltd chief executive officer Jonathan Howes said: “The merger of the event calendars from This Week in Bermuda, Nothing to Do in Bermuda and The Royal Gazette is exciting as the community now has access to the most complete calendar of events in Bermuda.“We have also enhanced the calendar offering by enabling online event submission.”The Nothing to Do in Bermuda? website was created by British expat Claire Hattie in 2010 with the aim of giving Islanders a complete listing of local events. Its popularity quickly grew and Bermuda Press Holdings Ltd acquired it last year, making it a sister company to The Royal Gazette.Ms Hattie said: “The overall goal is to create the most complete and easy-to-use events calendar in Bermuda. Not only is it a great resource for those looking for fun things to do but it is also free advertising for event organisers. The ability to get the word out about your event will no longer be restricted to those who have a big marketing budget and the Submit Your Event section will make the process of getting listed even easier than before. I think it will surprise a lot of people to see just how much is going on in Bermuda.”Useful websites:www.royalgazette.comwww.nothingtodoinbermuda.comwww.thisweek.bmwww.emoo.com
