Man charged after armed burglary

A second man has been charged in relation to an armed burglary last Friday in which one of the men allegedly shot himself.

Umdae Woolridge, of Middle Terrace Road, Pembroke, was charged with entering a home on North Shore Road as a trespasser and stealing two cell phones while in possession of a firearm.

Twenty-four year-old Mr Woolridge was not required to enter a plea as the charges are indictable.

Senior Magistrates Archie Warner remanded him into custody.

Mr Woolridge's co-accused, Taariq Clarke, was remanded into custody yesterday.

Mr Woolridge will reappear on March 31.
