A Canadian registered sail boat had to be towed in to Bermuda on Friday after is engine and VHF radio failed.
Just after 1pm, Harbour Radio received notification of an “urgency” signal from, Misty Blue II, a 34-foot vessel, which was stranded 15 miles north east of Bermuda.
According to a Harbour Radio spokesman, the tug boat St David made its way to the vessel and towed it back to St George's customs dock at 4.33pm.
Only one man, the captain, was on board and no injuries were reported.
The Harbour Radio spokesman was unable to provide the name of the captain or whether he was the owner of the vessel, but did confirm that he had sailed from Canada to Bermuda.
The vessel is believed to still be in St George's Harbour.
