Blacks side determined to regain the World Rugby Classic title they lost last year.

Seven time winners of the Classic, the New Zealand squad will include no less than 13 new players as they look to make amends for last year's shock semi-final defeat by Argentina.

Among the many familiar Kiwi faces not arriving this time is Andy Haden, who is handling the marketing of the World Cup golf tournament in Auckland around the same time as the Classic.

But the new players should add to the tournament's international flavour.

Mark Birtwhistle, who played 18 times for Western Samoa as lock, and Jimmy Damu who played seven times on the wing for Fiji, join an already accomplished All Blacks squad.

Dumu is one of the stars of the all-conquering Fijian Sevens team.

John Boe at outhalf, Joe Stanley in the centre and Kieran Crowley at full back should provide good service to the flying Fijian while on the other wing Kawhena Woodman, who played six times for the All Blacks, will add yet another dimension to the New Zealanders' running game.

Bruce Hemara, Jock Ross, Steve McDowell, Snow Cruden and Bruce Middleton, in the pack, all return seeking to put last year's losses against Argentina and South Africa behind them.

The All Blacks play their first match of this year's Classic against Canada at Nationals on Tuesday, November 10.
