Under 10 and Over 10 titles at Wellington Oval during the BCBC Cricket Festival.

The young St. Georgian's proved a class above, first bludgeoning St. John's by six wickets in the younger age bracket and then outperforming their visitors from Southampton among the older crew.

Spectacular bowling performances by Grayson McCallan and David Signour, who claimed four for five and four for 10 respectively, and a three wicket haul by Albert Jenkins resulted in St. John's crumbling to 33 all out.

This score proved not nearly enough, and even though St. George's made an adventure in reaching the required total, losing four wickets, the result was never in doubt. Allan Outerbridge top scored for St. George's with an unbeaten knock of 17.

Meanwhile, the over 10 final saw much runs being scored in abundance, as Southampton surged to 89 with Jelani Scott a major contributor with 10, while Travis Smith grabbed four for 22.

A sparkling 31 not out by Azeem Pitcher paved the way for a St. George's win and he was aided by 31 off the bat of Chaka DeSilva in helping the home side to 91 for three.

There were two consolation finals, both of which supplied ample entertainment for spectators on hand.

A nailbiter ensued between Bailey's Bay and Southampton (Under 10) as Bay weighted in with 84 for five from their allotment of 20 overs and Southampton, needing six runs from the last ball for victory, could only manage a four, giving them a total of 83 and a one run loss.

The other match saw St. John's scorch to 106 for eight before dismissing Bailey's Bay for 88 in reply.
