Sunday's first moto left Pace as the odd man out at Coney Island.
Pace was the only overall winner in the seven classes not to succeed in all three races, having to settle for a third and two firsts.
The top overall positions in the national championships, however, remained unchanged.
Kemo Simons was third for the day with two seconds and a third but still leads overall by 55 points while Justin Belboda was fourth with three fourths.
Belboda and Neilson DeGraffe are tied for second overall on 90 points. Smith and Pace are further off the pace on 79 and 75 points respectively, having missed some race days.
Brandon DeSilva outrode Dwire Blyden to win the Pee Wee 50 class and gain an extra 45 points in the process to lead the class by 108 points. He is also undefeated in all national and trophy races this season.
Pierre Davis won the Pee Wee 80 class with three firsts, while Aaron Cannonier was unstoppable in the 60cc class as he won all three motos. Jakai Brimmer was second with three seconds and Maurice Simons third with a fourth and two thirds.
Points leader Sean DeSilva romped to his third hat-trick of the season in the 80cc class as the expected competition from Howard Paynter, who suffered engine problems, failed to materialise.
Second in the 80cc was Steven Panchaud while Runeko Edwards was third.
Jamel Hassell is quickly coming to grips with the power of the 125cc bikes, picking up his first hat-trick in the class to beat Mark Hatherley, Carlston Burgess and Craig Panchaud in the 125 C. Hassell moved from fifth to third overall.
