As the Miller High Life league approached the holiday season, scores soared with leaders Marlboro recording one of the biggest wins.

Marlboro smoked Team Metro 25-5 in a make-up game which saw Marlboro roll the second high team game and series of 1023 and 2897 respectively.

The winners were led by Doug Hines' top individual series of 716 and second high game of 249 while Mike McCallum rolled top game of 256. The losers were led by Carlos Estravit.

Second placed Tools and Equipment gained one point on the leaders with their 26-4 romp of New Mix Ups. After sneaking a two-pin win in the first game, the winners awoke to post their top game of 1046 on the way to the best series of 2908. Antoine Jones rolled second high series of 645 while Dean Lightbourne had the third high game of 234 and 606 series. Conrad Lister rolled a 599 which paced the winners. Clem Lespere led the losers.

Thompson's took a 20-10 win from Terminators after the first two games had been close. Thompson's posted the third high game of 971 to ease their way to victory. Lite Ice crushed a short-handed New Breed team 28-2 with Reggie Saunders rolling a 231 game on the way to the third high series of 611.

The remaining match saw Team Electric roll over Stevedoring Services 201 -91 as Sam Santucci posted a 600 series to lead the winners to the upset.
