Bermuda Cricket Umpires Association, have been chosen to officiate in this week's Cup Match.

Raynor, president of the BCUA, has made regular appearances over the last five years while Butler, secretary of the association, will be making his debut in the classic.

Butler has long been regarded as one of the most knowledgeable umpires when it comes to interpreting cricket rules and regulations. And his absence from the summer classic has been questioned in the past.

Three years ago he spent a month gaining multiple-day match experience in Jamaica by officiating in first class matches.

Previously Butler had been appointed as a Cup Match stand-by, taking this role on two occasions in 1991 and 1993. Stand-by official this year is Wilbur Pitcher, vice president of the BCUA, who assisted Raynor last year.
