Clean sweep for class winners
for all of the class winners on Sunday.
Jonte Smith won the Pee Wee 50 and Brandon DeSilva the Pee Wee 80.
And the 60cc class belonged to Aaron Cannonier who won all three motos, although Jakai Brimmer put the pressure on with two seconds and a third before settling for second. Last weekend's winner, Gary Cann, was third.
The 80cc class provided some excitement with lead changes between four riders, Steven Panchaud, Sean DeSilva, Shaki Easton and Treadwell Nesbitt.
But the closest anyone got to topping Panchaud was in the second moto when Easton was passed on the last lap. DeSilva finished with two seconds and a fourth and Easton third with a third, second and fourth.
A new class -- the 80 expert -- was introduced on Sunday, designed to provide a bridge between the rider too old for the 80cc and/or unable to make the change to the bigger 125 bike.
Craig Panchaud was the first winner with Levon Seymour second.
Charles Butterfield was the lone 125B rider as some bikes were out for repairs.
Among the 125C riders, Howard Paynter and Carlston Burgess battled during all three races with Paynter coming away with three firsts and Burgess three seconds.
In the last moto, Burgess had the best start with Butterfield and Paynter following. Burgess kept his bike in front with Paynter trying to pass him at the end of the `washboard' to no avail.
Racing is again scheduled this Sunday.
