The International Tennis Federation yesterday released a full schedule for America Zone III, the group Bermuda is slotted to play in from March 1 to 5.

The Island will be represented by a four-man squad of Billy and Michael Way, Donald Evans and Steve Bean. The team will be captained by Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association vice president Allan Simmons, although he will not compete in any of the matches.

Bermuda will play three matches each -- two singles and one doubles -- against the four other countries in their group and the team finishing in first place will move up to American Zone II. All other countries will remain in Zone III for 1996.

The Island will open the schedule on March 1 against Eastern Caribbean, a group of countries made up of Antigua, Barbuda, Grenada, Grenadines Islands, Guyana, St. Vincent, St. Lucia and St. Kitts/Nevis.

The following day will be the only rest day with the tie against powerhouse Puerto Rico scheduled for March 3. Bermuda will then play Costa Rica on Saturday and Dominican Republic on Sunday.

Michael Way and Evans will play singles while Billy Way and Bean are expected to play doubles. The team arrives in Santo Domingo on February 27.
