Division A leaders Bluebirds made it nine wins in 11 outings with a 4-0 win over bottom place Swifts.

Swifts are still pointless after nine matches and Bluebirds ran out easy winners with Colette Doughty leading the way with two goals and Sarah Maltby and Ali Anson getting one each.

Ali Figureido, with her strong play in defence, was the MVP for Bluebirds.

Cardinals needed a late goal from Hannah Ellison to beat Orioles 1-0 and remain in second place.

After a goalless first half, Orioles took over in the second until Cardinals stepped up the pressure and broke the deadlock in the final few minutes when Ellison converted a pass.

Orioles remained unbeaten in the B League when they beat Cardinals 1-0.

Georgie Adlan scored early in the match and the Orioles held on.

Orioles goalkeeper Tish Parfitt was named MVP.

In the other B League match, Bluebirds struggled to a 0-0 draw against a Swifts team that is brimming with confidence following their Chile trip.

Bluebirds battled well, spending the majority of the game in the Swifts half.

However, they were unable to convert their shots on goal.
