Falcons blow 10-point lead

Monday evening in the Bermuda Basketball Association Summer League.

The youthful Roughnecks emerged from a tension-filled match against Falcons as slim 57-55 winners as Sullivan Phillips poured in a game high 23 points to more than offset John Robinson's 14 for Falcons.

Falcons had no one to blame but themselves after blowing a 10-point lead at the end of three quarters and this coming from a supposed experienced side.

Meanwhile, Twisters had no such difficulty overcoming the challenge posed by the Bank of Bermuda team, routing the latter 88-59, with Kit Mueller and Kevin Barritt providing many of the highlights in totalling 26 and 19 points respectively as five Twisters achieved double figures in scoring.
