Glanton keeps lead
Championships had a difficult time when play was suspended twice due to torrential rains at Mid Ocean yesterday.
In the boys 18-21 category, American Chad Glanton -- who fired the impressive one-under-par 69 at Belmont on Tuesday -- finished with a 75 yesterday, but still has an overall two-shot overall lead over local Chris Garland, who shot the low round (74) of the day.
American Ken Pullin enjoyed an outstanding two-under-par 33 on the front nine, but shot a disappointing 43 on the back side for a score of 76.
Bermudian Patrick Graham continued his fine play in the 15-17 age group with a solid 78 to lead American Corey Bringham by one shot. Overnight leader Robbie Spurling fired a disappointing 82, but remains only three shots off the lead.
In the girls Open division, Jameica Duncombe of the Bahamas carded an 82 which now leaves her with a 10-shot advantage over local Lindsay Sims.
The boys 13-14 age group is very close with Kyle Miller and William Weil both on 165.
Aaron James leads Oliver Pitcher in the Under-12s by five shots after coming home with 43 on the back nine.
