place in the First Division yesterday.

With Gibbs in top form, Social Club, who moved into top spot for the first time this season, easily brushed aside Parish at Lord's, scoring three goals in the first half.

Parish netted a consolation goal from Corey Hill, but it was a match which Social Club dominated throughout.

Gibbs cracked the opener after just six minutes and then added the second after 20 minutes. Raymond Burgess finished off the first half scoring after 29 minutes, giving Social Club a 3-0 lead at the interval.

Hill pulled one back after 48 minutes, but Social re-established their three-goal lead after 79 minutes through an own goal by Hassan Shaik.

Dev.Cougars 3 Ir.Rangers 3 "Nothing good about a point,'' was the reaction of Cougars player-coach Shawn Smith at the end of this game at Devonshire Rec., knowing they had blown the chance to take a four-point lead at the top of the First Division.

Cougars goalkeeper Tori Henry was responsible for at least two of the goals as Ireland Rangers equalised six minutes from the end to deny Cougars all three points.

Cougars wasted a few good chances before Rangers broke the deadlock on the half hour when Duane DeRosa's free kick on the left edge of the box was blocked by the diving Henry as it looked to be curling wide of the near post.

The ball was kept in play and Steven Burchall followed up to plant the rebound.

Phillip Clarke equalised for Cougars five minutes later when he scored from close range, but Rangers regained the lead in the 40th minute when the advancing Henry was slow to collect a ball on the ground and Jonathan Bean took it around him and put it into an open goal.

Cougars struck a second equaliser in the 50th minute when player-coach Smith found the net with a left-foot volley from 10 yards. And when Mark Smith forced his way through to give them the lead in the 62nd minute it was the perfect chance for Cougars to take control.

Henry made a save with his legs from Ryan Evans and Cougars were hanging on in the closing minutes when Rangers snatched a point. Dennis DeRosa sent a high ball into the box from deep on the right and Henry was caught off his line as the ball went over his head and into goal. Henry got a hand to the ball but could not keep it out.

St. George's 3 Paget 0 St. George's moved one place up the tables with their second victory of the season at Wellington Oval as bottom team Paget had two players sent off.

Mackie Crane netted twice, in the 48th and 81st minutes with a 72nd minute effort from Gregg Foggo sandwiched inbetween.

The ejections came in the 59th and 60th minutes, first when Jamel Darrell was shown the red card for hitting referee Ralph Tumbridge in the back with his fist as he was walking off to be substituted. Darrell had been booked six minutes earlier.

Jason Smith, a substitute, was subsequently sent off for threatening behaviour from the bench.

Prospect 3 Som.Eagles 0 Second-from-bottom Prospect ended a sequence of four straight league losses with their first win since the opening day of the season.

Philip Bailey gave them the lead at Police Field in the 23rd minute and Dwayne Leverock made it 2-0 in the 37th. Andrew Bissell, usually the goalkeeper but playing in outfield, completed the rout with the third in the 78th minute.
