Jeff makes bold move
Atlantic International Junior Tournament with a fine two-over-par 73 at Mid Ocean Club yesterday under almost perfect playing conditions.

Alisa Hardy increased her lead in the girls division despite a second-round score of 80 to go with her impressive opening round of 74 the day before.
Hardy has a two-day score of 154 and now leads Morgan McLaughlin of Colorado by 10 strokes with 36 holes still to play. A further four strokes back is another American visitor, Molly Driscoll, who had another round of 84.
Seventeen-year-old Kyle Smith of Orillia, Ontario, shot a 79 to increase his lead in the 15-17 age group to six shots over fellow Canadian Chris Eby, who had a round of 82 yesterday.
One division that promises to go right down to the final few holes, with just 10 strokes separating five players, is the boys 13-14 where Robert Spurling of Bermuda has a three-stroke head over another local, Michael Sims.
Spurling shot a 79 yesterday for a two-round score of 159 while Sims added an 83 to his opening round of 79, which had given him the early lead. A further stroke behind Sims is David James of Bermuda.
Nathaniel Hoopes continued his fine play in the 12-and-under category with a nine-hole score of 39 today and is now 17 shots clear of second-placed Alex Fox of the Bahamas.
