added to that this week by qualifying for the US Women's Amateur Championships which begins on August 9 at the Country Club of San Diego.

Easily her biggest accomplishment to date, the Bermuda golfer grabbed one of three spots at a tournament in Raleigh, North Carolina. Similar tournaments were held throughout the United States with only a lucky 150 golfers sewing up spots for the toast of amateur tournaments. Overall, there were approximately 700 golfers hoping to lock up spots for the tournament.

Marshall qualified by firing a two-over-par 74 and she will be joined on the squad by fellow Wake Forest teammate Stephanie Neill, who also carded a 74.

Marshall has made a name for herself as a member of the Wake Forest team in helping them make the NCAA finals for the first time ever. She parlayed that by qualifying eighth for the Women's North and South tournament at Pinehurst GC after that but was knocked out in the first round.
