Sims had a three round total of 226 to make the cut by two strokes but was still 13 shots behind the leader.

Bermuda's Robbie Spurling went round in 75 but missed the cut by four shots along with Craig Brown and David James who both carded 79s.

Sims was scheduled to play his final round yesterday.
