Team I won the Lynne Smith Tournament on Saturday at Nationals, scoring in extra-time to snatch a 3-2 victory over Team II.
Team I was made up of players from Cardinals, Orioles and Swifts while Team II contained players from Canaries, Bluebirds and Swifts.
With the sides tied up at 2-2 after regulation time, Team I clinched victory after 15 minutes of extra time. Emma Holmes, Lisa Ray and Juliette Blake scored for the winners and Ali Cameron and Denise Downey for the losers.
Two league matches on Sunday saw Canaries beat Swifts 4-0 in the B League and Canaries stop Swifts 4-2 in A League play.
A slow Swifts team went down 2-0 before half-time in the A League match as Emma Garon and Sarah Northcott scored for Canaries.
Swifts showed more determination after the restart but conceded a third goal when Garon converted.
Swifts finally made their mark with two goals in quick succession by Megan Spurling. But Canaries put the result beyond doubt as Garon completed her hat-trick in the final minutes.
Canaries cut Orioles' lead in the B League to three points when they beat Swifts 4-0. Canaries took a 1-0 half-time lead through Denise Downey and a fine goal by Georgi Barbosa then took the wind out of Swifts' sails.
Canaries continued to dominate and notched two further goals through Ali Cameron and Sam Miller to leave them celebrating a 4-0 victory.
DARTS DRT Brenda Hutton, club champion of BAA, became the new Champion of Champions when she defeated defending champion Dawn Bealing in her final round robin match on Friday night at BAA Club to finish with a 4-1 record.
Each player had to play the other club champion. In the last round of matches Terry Cartwright had played her six matches and boasted a 4-2 record, only losing to Hutton and Bealing.
With 4-1 records, Hutton and Bealing had to play each other to decide the title and it was Hutton who emerged triumphant leaving Bealing with a 4-2 record.
Hutton's only loss was to June Bleeker and Bealing's to Debbie Nesbitt.
In the play-off for second place, Cartwright beat Bealing.
Ladies doubles matches are scheduled for Friday at St. George's Dinghy and Sports Club, starting at 8.30 p.m.
